CANLAN APPROVED HOTELS

• Canlan Classic Tournaments has taken steps to secure competitive group rates in the area for our tournaments.
• We require that all travel teams “receive offers” from our hotels in order to participate in our event.
• Participation in our hotel partnership program helps keep the costs of our tournaments down.
• Hotel requests are sent direct to hotels, who will then reach out to teams with a proposal based on your requirement as not all teams are the same.

TORONTO LEASIDE WILDCATS MARCH MATCHUP – PAYMENT POLICY

PAYMENTS

Entry is a 2 step process. Entry into the TLGHA March MatchUp tournament is not reserved without:

•  a $500 deposit paid at the time of registration, and;
•  the balance paid in full per entry. 

E-transfers:

When paying by e-transfer, include in the message your team name, coach, division, level and OWHA #. Transfers can be sent to: info@torontoleasidewildcats.ca

Teams that completed a registration form will not be placed in tournament schedule if:

• Tournament sells out prior to receiving full payment
• Final payment is not received by January 31st, 2025. Registrations made after January 31st, 2025, must be paid in full
• Tournament Host discretion (i.e. there is not an appropriate division, etc.)

 TOURNAMENT WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY  

• A $250 administration fee will be applied to any team that has not secured their spot through full payment and are removed from the tournament due to their division selling out.
• A $250 administration fee will be applied to any team who withdraws from the tournament following their registration and deposit payment. 
• A $350 administration fee will be applied to any team who withdraws from the tournament 4 weeks or less prior to the tournament.

 Refunds will be returned to the team within 30 days upon receipt of the team’s written notice of withdrawal.  

Cancelled Division: The $250 administration fee will NOT apply if a division is cancelled by the tournament host. The team’s registration fee will be returned to the team within 30 days.  

OWHA Tournament Withdrawal (as per OWHA Handbook): 

1. Written notice of withdrawal from a tournament must be received by the Tournament Host four (4) weeks prior to the tournament. Failure to comply will result in a fine of $200.00 payable to the OWHA within 30 days. 
2. If a team withdraws from a tournament other than as specified in RULE TWO(I)(10), the following fines will be levied by the OWHA, to be divided 60% to the OWHA and 40% to the tournament host. All fines are in addition to the fine levied in (1) above. 

• $100.00 fine 7-10 days prior to tournament 
• $150.00 fine 2-6 days prior to tournament 
• $200.000 fine 1 day prior to tournament 
• $300.00 fine No show 

3. Penalized teams may appeal these penalties on the grounds of unavoidable accident or unforeseen circumstances as per Appeal Procedures. 
4. The Tournament Host is entitled to retain the tournament entry fee of any team which withdraws 4 weeks or less prior to the tournament.
