Reminder: This is an application form. Entry into the tournament is not reserved without full payment. Teams are not guaranteed entry if:

• Tournament fills up prior to receiving full payment
• Final payment not received by 4 weeks prior to tournament
• At Tournament Staff discretion / there is not an appropriate division

CANLAN APPROVED HOTELS

• Canlan Classic Tournaments has taken steps to secure competitive group rates in the area for our tournaments.
• We require that all travel teams “receive offers” from our hotels in order to participate in our event.
• Participation in our hotel partnership program helps keep the costs of our tournaments down.
• Hotel requests are sent direct to hotels, who will then reach out to teams with a proposal based on your requirement as not all teams are the same.

TORONTO LEASIDE WILDCATS MARCH MATCHUP PAYMENT POLICY 

PAYMENTS 

Entry into the TLGHA March MatchUp tournament is not reserved without: 

• Balance paid in full per entry  

E-transfers: 

When paying by e-transfer, include in the message your team’s name, coach, division, level and OWHA #. Transfers can be sent to: info@torontoleasidewildcats.ca 

Teams that completed a registration form will not be placed in the tournament schedule if: 

• The tournament sells out prior to receiving full payment

• At the Tournament Host discretion (i.e. there is not an appropriate division, etc.) 

 TOURNAMENT WITHDRAWAL/REFUND POLICY   

Team withdrawal and request for a refund after registration and payment confirmation will be charged an Administrative Fee per below:

Before January 1, 2027:                      $100

January 1 – 31, 2027:                           25% of registration fee

February 1 – 28, 2027:                         50% of registration fee

March 1 – 19, 2027:                               No refund (OWHA rules apply)

The registration fee less the administration fee will be e-transferred within 30 days upon receipt of the team’s written notice of withdrawal.

Incorrect Division: If a team does not advise the tournament host of an incorrect/change in division/level 60 days prior to the tournament start date, they will be removed from the tournament at the team’s expense.

Cancelled Division: The administration fee will NOT apply if a division is cancelled by the tournament host. The team’s registration fee will be returned to the team within 30 days of notifying the team of the division’s cancellation.

OWHA Tournament Withdrawal (as per OWHA Handbook):  

Written notice of withdrawal from a tournament must be received by the Tournament Host four (4) weeks prior to the tournament. Failure to comply will result in a fine of $200.00 payable to the OWHA within 30 days.  

1. If a team withdraws from a tournament other than as specified in RULE TWO(I)(10), the following fines will be levied by the OWHA, to be divided 60% to the OWHA and 40% to the tournament host. All fines are in addition to the fine levied in #1 above.

• • 7-10 days prior to tournament $100.00
  • 2-6 days prior to tournament $150.00
  • 0-1 day prior to tournament $200.00
  • No show $300.00

1. Penalized teams may appeal these penalties on the grounds of unavoidable accident or unforeseen circumstances as per Appeal Procedures.  

1. The Tournament Host is entitled to retain the tournament entry fee of any team which withdraws 4 weeks or less prior to the tournament.
