THE ’21 SHANAHAN INTERNATIONAL TOURNAMENT IS HERE!
The Reps AAA Hockey Club is pleased to announce that the Shanahan is coming back to Toronto from November 5th-7th, 2021.
In conjunction with Canlan Classic Tournaments, registration for the 2021 tournament is now open!
One of the top elite AAA hockey tournaments in Ontario, the Shanahan International Hockey Tournament has been running for more than 10 years, playing host to elite teams from across Ontario and the United States.

’21 Shanahan Int. Tournament – Rules
TOURNAMENT HIGHLIGHTS 📽
- Four (4) game minimum, seven (7) game maximum
- Period format will vary by age group
- Tournament will include a round-robin and playoff schedule, with team awards by age group
- Deadline for Registration Applications: September 17th, 2021
- Deadline for Rosters: October 1st, 2021
- Schedule: October 15th, 2021
US TRAVEL TEAMS 🦅
While non-essential cross-border travel into Canada is currently not permitted for US citizens, the expectation is that restrictions may be loosened in August by the Canadian Federal Government. The current information suggests that, at this point, fully vaccinated American citizens will be permitted to cross the border for non-essential purposes.
In the meantime, we encourage you to contact us regarding your interest so we’re able to communicate any changes in restrictions that would permit your team to travel.

TOURNAMENT FEES 💳
- Deposit: $250 CAD
- Full Payment: $2,500 CAD (HST incl.)
All tournament applications will be reviewed prior to confirmation and will require a deposit. Full payments are due no later than September 17th, 2021. This tournament will operate in congruence with the COVID policies issued by the GTHL, OHF, Provincial Government, and any of its authorized agencies with the ability to implement guidelines or regulations. In the event that the tournament is cancelled due to the impact of any COVID-19 restrictions, participating teams will receive a full refund. Teams voluntarily withdrawing prior to October 1st, 2021 will receive a full refund, less a $200 administrative fee. Teams withdrawing on or after October 1st will not receive a refund.

Come celebrate the 60th Anniversary of one of Canada’s premier AAA hockey organizations with this year’s event, featuring U10-U15 divisions.
Please note, teams are not guaranteed entry if:
- Tournament fills up prior to receiving deposit of $250 CAD
- Final payment not received by September 17th, 2021
- At the discretion of the tournament staff, the team’s skill-level is not suitable for the event

Entry into the 2021 Shanahan International Hockey Tournament will not be confirmed until a deposit has been received with the tournament application.
We hope your team finds a home with us in 2021, but if it doesn’t work out, here’s why:
- Event fills up and there’s no spots left in your age group
- Final payment not received before the deadline of September 17th, 2021
- Tournament discretion (e.g. Team’s skill level is not suitable for the event)
